Conservation Scotland

Living and working full-time in Scotland, and having done a bit of volunteering in the past in other places, I wanted to find things to do on my days off which were good for nature and that I enjoyed, as well as spending time with like-minded folk. Then, the task was tiresome searches of web pages and social media feeds. So in April 2017 I started Conservation Scotland, a central website where organisations can add their own nature-based events independently and people looking for things to do can view all opportunities pooled together into a single calendar, which can even come direct to your email inbox. No online searching needed, leaving you to #getoutside and do something good for nature. Oh, and it’s free and open to all.

There’s loads of cool events on your website. It’s really nice having events from different organisations all in one place.
